Senior NLP Data Scientist

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • NLP Model Development: Design, develop, and implement NLP models and algorithms for various applications, including text analysis, language generation, sentiment analysis, and more.
  • Data Processing: Preprocess and analyze large datasets to build and train NLP models, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Model Deployment: Deploy NLP models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in NLP and machine learning, and apply new techniques to improve existing models and develop new ones.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate NLP capabilities into our products and services.
  • Evaluation and Optimization: Evaluate the performance of NLP models using appropriate metrics, and optimize models for accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document the development process, model architectures, and experimental results. Communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in NLP, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
    • Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, SpaCy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
    • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other Requirements: US citizenship is required.
