Computer Vision Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Model Development: Design, develop, and implement computer vision models and algorithms for various applications, including image recognition, object detection, segmentation, and more.
  • Data Collection and Annotation: Oversee the collection and annotation of large-scale datasets required for training computer vision models.
  • Model Training and Evaluation: Train, validate, and fine-tune computer vision models. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and optimize for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Deployment: Deploy computer vision models into production environments, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and performant.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning. Apply new techniques to enhance existing models and develop new solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate computer vision capabilities into our products and services.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document the development process, model architectures, and experimental results. Communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
    • Experience with computer vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
    • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other Requirements: US citizenship is required.
