GE Aerospace Supply Chain - Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Ops - Fall 2025

Job Description

Help invent the future of flight, lift people up, and bring them home safely as a GE Aerospace intern/co-op! You'll build leadership and technical skills in a supply chain/manufacturing role, working on challenging, real-world problems and solve for what the world needs. You will build relationships with interns/co-ops and leaders, and you'll prepare for a potential full-time position after graduation in one of our fantastic leadership programs or direct hire opportunity.

 

You will gain broad exposure to manufacturing with an array of opportunities to apply Lean and Six Sigma principles in a shop operations environment and improve state-of-the-art manufacturing methods. Examples of experiences include conventional & non-conventional machining, welding & joining, CNC programming, repair & overhaul, and lean manufacturing. You’ll be placed taking your preferences into account while also considering your major, year of schooling, and business needs at the time of placement. You will be placed in one of the below roles Manufacturing Engineering or Supply Chain operations based on business need and college major.

 

Manufacturing Engineering Description:

In this role you will build a strong technical foundation in manufacturing and assembly processes. This may include key manufacturing, new product integration, new technology integration, continuous improvement, and cost out. This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in our MEDP or OMLP program after graduation.

 

Supply Chain Operations Description:

In this role you will be responsible for key elements involved in the daily operations within Supply Chain. This may include materials management (forecasting, planning, fulfillment, logistics, and distribution) and sourcing (strategic commodity management, contract structuring, negotiation, supplier management) within your assigned site. GE Aerospace Supply Chain Operations are across 35+ sites in the U.S.A. This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in our OMLP program after graduation.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale

Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program (accepted majors are listed below)

Willingness and ability to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations

Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available

Benefits:

Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
