Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in testing and validating electrical components, systems, and products. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers to perform tests, analyze results, and contribute to the development of high-quality electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Plan Development: Assist in developing detailed test plans and procedures for electrical components and systems based on engineering specifications and requirements.
- Test Execution: Conduct electrical testing on components, assemblies, and systems. This includes functional tests, performance tests, stress tests, and compliance tests.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze test data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Use statistical methods to evaluate the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues encountered during testing. Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to address problems.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, including test results, observations, and recommendations for improvements.
- Compliance Testing: Assist in testing for compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, CE, FCC).
- Test Equipment Maintenance: Support the maintenance and calibration of test equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that products meet required quality standards and performance criteria.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as design, manufacturing, and quality, to support product development and testing efforts.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components.
- Familiarity with electrical test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators).
- Knowledge of test methodologies and procedures.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel, MATLAB) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze test data and troubleshoot issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to document and present test findings clearly.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a dynamic work environment.
- Security Access: Must be capable of holding U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards related to electrical systems.
- Experience with software for electrical design and simulation (e.g., SPICE, Altium Designer).
- Previous internship or project experience in electrical testing or related fields.
