Summer Electrical Engineering Intern

MEYERS+ ENGINEERS is looking for a summer 2025 intern to work in our electrical department in our San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture and engineering related to the design and construction of highly sustainable, innovative, high performing buildings. At MEYERS+ ENGINEERS, you will work with some of the world’s leading architects on a variety of building types including sports stadiums, museums, hotels, high-rise condo towers, university campuses, office towers, and laboratories. As a summer intern, you will receive direct hands on experience working with other engineers to produce engineering drawings utilizing both AUTOCAD and REVIT design platforms. We work on projects from the design phase through construction, so you will spend a certain percentage of your time out of the office at the project site performing site surveys, and the remaining time will be in the office working with your design team. Our goal is to ensure that you receive the best education in the architectural engineering industry in order to help inform your career. You will quickly gain experience in the design of power distribution systems, panel equipment sizing, lighting circuiting & controls, Energy Code calculations, short circuit and voltage drop calculations, and REVIT modeling.   Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering. MEYERS+ ENGINEERS is a fast growing MEP consulting firm focused on delivering high quality professional work results to our clients, while at the same time creating a fun and rewarding environment for our employees.   We seek a dynamic fun personality to join our team that can immediately have an impact on our technical service offering to our clients and contribute to our family oriented work culture. We look forward to receiving your cover letter and resume for consideration.
