Video Editor / Media Intern
Leland is a Stanford MBA-founded coaching marketplace where ambitious people can access live expertise to help them reach career and educational goals. We have 500+ coaches from the most selective schools and companies in the world, including Stanford, Harvard, Google, Meta, Bain, McKinsey, and countless others.
We’re looking for a media intern to help us grow our content creation and distribution across different channels, including YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, blogs, email, and more.
If you are a scrappy and hard-working student with video editing skills who is interested in tech and growth initiatives, working with an experienced team, joining a well-funded high-growth startup, and making a meaningful impact on the world, we’d love to chat. This is a part-time internship for 15-20 hours/week. Please make sure your resume is in standard format before applying.
Responsibilities
- Edit long and short-form videos for YouTube and other channels using Adobe Premiere
- Brainstorm topics for videos, blog posts, and other media initiatives
- Write scripts and optimize descriptions/titles
- Turn existing content into other types of content for multi-channel distribution
- Understand content marketing strategies/best practices and make data-driven decisions
Qualifications - Must Haves
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Video editing experience and comfortable with Adobe Premiere and Canva
- You are curious, adaptive, and a fast learner, willing to become an expert in new areas and learn new things
- Our team is passionate about making a difference in our customers’ lives and we want someone who is motivated, proactive, and a hard worker
- Great communication skills
- You are based in the US
Qualifications - Nice to Haves
- Experience with multi-channel growth
- Experience with SEO and/or social media strategy
- Personal experience with one or more of our categories
