Student Engagement Center Student Administrator

The Student Engagement Center Student Administrator position is an integral part of our office. They primarily assist with billing and payment method processing. This includes: budgeting documentation, receipt collection, and billing procedure management. This position may also be asked to assist with other administrative duties as needed. While at work, this position will also be required to answer questions via phone calls, walk-ins, and emails pertaining to the Student Engagement Center areas of oversight, including Housing & Residence Life, Student Activities, and Greek Life. Students should be prepared to be welcoming and helpful to all patrons.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Assistant Director of Housing Operations on oversight of coop budgets
  • Maintain Wegmans card records and submit billing accordingly
  • Support all staff members with corporate card purchase management
  • Field questions pertaining to Housing & Residence Life, Student Activities, and Greek Life (clubs, campus activities, housing, meal plans, etc.)
  • Assisting staff with a variety of office tasks
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current HWS undergraduate student
  • Not on academic or social probation
  • Comfortable speaking with students, faculty, staff, and parents
  • Interest in business, management, economics, etc. while not required, is preferred

 

Compensation: $15 hr, 5 hours/week.
