imarron is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's System Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) contract in Huntsville, AL.  SITR is responsible for the overall Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Element engineering and integration, including physical and logical integration of the GMD Element and Components with the Missile Defense System.  Cimarron's team members will be instrumental in ensuring the GMD Element of the Missile Defense System continues to provide safe, reliable and responsive capability to defend the U.S. homeland.  We welcome you to be a part of this challenging and important program!

Key Duties: 

  • Support the GMD Element Assessments, including the development, maintenance, and delivery of Capability and Limitation Reports, Technical Performance Measures in the GMD Element Digital Model, Threat Assessment Reports, Lethality Analysis Reports, and Early Testing and Prototyping Reports.
  • Complete planning and execution of all necessary testing to verify overall requirements and compliance.
  • Apply statistics and applied mathematic skills to provide reports.

Requires Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Active or Interim Secret clearance.
  • Experience with MATLAB or Python.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and meeting management skills.
  • Ability to provide backup to other teammates, when needed.
  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited school in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry) and 5 or more years of experience, or a Master of Science and 1 or more years of related experience.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with one or more elements of the Missile Defense System.
