Student Assistant – Technical Writing: Launching Standardization & Efficiency

The Position
We are seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented student assistants to participate in a collaborative IT team project focused on technical writing and policy. The goal is to standardize required documentation for low code systems. The successful candidates will work closely with the IT Quality and Compliance to develop a comprehensive case study that involves collaborating with various IT teams to change the approach to documentation for low code systems. This role requires excellent writing and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Manage IT policy and writing specific required documentation to meet company standards.
- Conduct thorough research of existing low code documentation to ensure comprehensive understanding.
- Identify different scenarios of how to standardize and launch new approach.
- Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical requirements and documentation requirements.
- Create and write IT required documentation per the Manage IT SOP for low code no code systems (apps).
- Create accessible and simple location of new documents.
- Create implementation and presentation plan to showcase to IT Department.
This role is offered as a part-time working opportunity for students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. The estimated duration of this assignment is 15-20 hours per week for minimum of 3 months with the potential to be extended. Flexible scheduling available to accommodate academic commitments.

Physical Requirements
- 0-5% overnight travel required.
- This position is offered as remote, hybrid or onsite opportunity depending on the student’s availability.
Qualifications
- Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Support Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline (minor degree focus also accepted).
- Preferred academic class year of a Senior or higher.
- Strong interest in compliance, technology, and system applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, technical analysis and technical writing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Curious and passionate about learning new things and creating change.
