On-Board Diagnostics Data Analyst

The applicant performs data analysis to assess On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) system’s compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist with OBD testing, including collecting and compiling data. Have a strong understanding of data analysis and statistics and are adept at using statistical techniques to extract valuable insights from the vast amount of data generated by OBD systems. Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as R, SAS, or Python, is preferred. A strong educational background, including completed coursework related to automotive engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, or other related disciplines. Highly motivated and enthusiastic, and ability to work in an organized and thorough manner.  Lastly, have the ability to articulate technical findings and insights both oral and in writing. 

Who can apply: Current students attending an accredited college or university in Southern California for the Summer quarter/semester. This is an in-person, unpaid internship and students are required to earn course credit to be eligible for placement.
