Healthcare Operations and Marketing Intern

  • As an intern at the Texas Institute of Dermatology (TXID), you will have the opportunity to work alongside the TXID team and assist with various projects related to healthcare operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, such as updating manuals and step-by-step operating procedures, generating engaging content for social media platforms, and performing assigned tasks at various positions in the clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • After gaining hands-on experience with all the steps involved in healthcare operations, you may be tasked with analyzing current processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing new strategies to streamline patient flow, and assisting with the execution of various initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience.
  • This internship will provide you with valuable experience in healthcare operations and expose you to various aspects of clinical operations, ranging from the front office to the back office. You will be working alongside a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering quality dermatology care to their patients.
  • Part-time of Full-time.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • To be considered for the internship, you should have completed at least one year of college or university and have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
  • Applicants with prior internship/work experience in a clinical or related business setting are preferred.
  • The ideal candidate has a background in Healthcare, Marketing, Business, or STEM fields of study.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, proficiency in operating professional cameras, and experience with adowrds, website design, SEO, software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop are preferred.
  • A creative and collaborative mindset, as well as excellent communication skills, are essential to interact effectively with team members and patients.
