Teacher Substitute
- Establish strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Support student learning and development by providing age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Adhere to Maryland State Department of Education Regulations.
- Comply with the building procedures for PSECDP host schools at the Howard County Public School System buildings.
- Follow food preparation guidelines and assist students' dietary needs.
- Respect the guidelines of the program's performance standards.
- Demonstrate mastery in implementing curriculum, focusing on both full group and individual learning outcomes.
- Plan and facilitate family and student events and end of curriculum projects.
- Must have or acquire the following certificates: First Aid CPR, Medication Administration Training, ADA, 90 HOUR CERTIFICATE, 45 HOUR (Infant and Toddler certificate-only for infant and toddler positions). Training assistance available upon request.
- All open positions include paid winter, summer break and paid holidays for full-time employees.
- Scheduling is for 10-months, closed during the summer.
