Position Title: Studio Art Model
Organization: IU Indianapolis
Department/ Office: Herron School of Art and Design
Hourly Wage: $15/hour
Number of Openings: 5
Average Hours/ Week: 5 hours per week
Reports to: Lola Thompson- Supervisor
General Purpose:
Recruiting portrait models for drawing and painting classes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs as a live model during class time, sitting or standing for 2.5 – 3 hours per class.
- Ability to hold poses without movement as directed by the class instructor.
- Must be punctual and possess a positive attitude.
- Willing to take initiate to create interesting poses.
Desired Minimum Qualifications:
- Past modeling experience is not required; however the ideal candidate would have performing art, yoga, or aerobics experience.
- Current Herron Majors and Minors are encouraged to apply, position is open to all IU Indianapolis students.
