Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Field Worker specializing in lead paint and mold testing to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting safe living and working environments. As a Field Worker, you will also supervise lead abatement workers during remediation projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Travelling to various locations as necessary to conduct on-site inspections and assessments, which may include early mornings and late evenings.
  • Supervise lead abatement workers during projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in accordance with EPA, HUD, and state/local regulations.
  • Collect samples, perform visual assessments, and utilize specialized equipment to identify lead and/or mold hazards.
  • Communicating findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly and professionally to team members.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction, real estate, or lead inspections.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to travel locally and regionally.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • EPA Lead Inspector License. (Preferred)
  • Experience creating hand-drawn layouts. (Preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish. (Preferred)
