This position is for Weekend Shift i.e. Alternate Work Week (AWW): Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30PM - 6:30 AM.

What You Will Do:

Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus Business is at the core of military and commercial engine applications production with the manufacture of forgings for disks. The Quality Supervisor, Operations be responsible for ensuring quality compliance within inspection operations and meeting customer expectations through on-time delivery while working to drive efficiency into the quality inspection processes.

Ensure the safety of employees by driving a "safety-first" culture.
Enable the inspection team by providing training and development; leading a team that is empowered to make decisions that meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
Identify opportunities for documentation of quality requirements to establish and implement improvements.
Investigate new and improved methods of inspection that can be used to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
Promote transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps in meeting daily business objectives.
Collaborate with the quality engineering and manufacturing engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities; lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices in an aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, operations or quality environment.
Prior experience in a team leadership role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer

Leadership Operating Model knowledge and performance.
Experience with SAP and Solumina.
Inspection and/or quality engineering experience.
Understanding of calibration requirements.
