Marketing / Creative Director Internship

The Opportunity: 

The Marketing / Creative Director internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside HYP leadership and industry professionals and an educational and learning experience to further the pursuit of the student’s academic degree:

  • Gain practical experience in marketing, and contribute to real-world campaigns, building valuable skills that can be applied to future career
  • Exposure to collaborative ideation, creation, and development of original and creative / artistic physical, digital, and virtual content; and/or compelling digital short form audio or video entertainment and immersive content and storytelling, alongside industry professionals and creatives
  • Have the opportunity to create and publish your own content, contributing to the company's social media presence and making a meaningful impact
  • Learn from experienced professionals and gain insights into industry best practices, trends, and strategies
  • Develop important skills such as top of funnel marketing and PR including content creation and management, analytics tracking, campaign planning, press release drafting and earned media strategies, which can enhance your resume and boost your career prospects
  • Gain exposure to business development and partnership related initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members, interact with industry influencers, and build professional connections that can benefit you in your future career endeavors

Ideal Applicants:

  • Candidate pursuing a major and/or a career in entertainment, media, film, fine arts, marketing, advertising, communications and will treat this as an opportunity for growth and development
  • Ideal candidate has interest in one or more of the following domains/industries: AI, consumer goods, beauty, fashion, retail, media
  • Candidate with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Candidate with excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, creative, and problem solving skills
  • Candidate with hustle, drive, and ability to multi-task
  • Candidate who is well-versed in various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube.
  • Candidate with experience in managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and analyzing social media performance metrics

  • Hours: Hiring for Fall internships

  • Reports to: Founder/CEO
  • Compensation Range: Unpaid
  • Stipend: $300 (Fall non-W2 payment) or course credit
  • Please note: All applicants must be enrolled in an accredited degree program for the entire duration of their internship
