The NMU Golf Course is Hiring for the Fall 2024 Semester

Your job will encompass a diverse and varied group of skills related to the mowing, maintenance, setup and upgrading of our 18 hole golf course. 

We are able to train all interested individuals who may lack experience working on a golf course.

Briefly, the things you can expect to learn while working at The NMU Golf Course include:

-Operating a riding mower, tractor, utility vehicle and other equipment.

-Learning the specialized turf management practices we will perform daily.

-Gaining experience with soil and turf grass science, integrated pest management, electrical, plumbing and other mechanical work.

We will work around your class schedule and are flexible with time off needs.

We offer rotating weekends off and maximum 5 days worked in a given week. The maximum amount of hours you can work during the school year is 24 per week, but less than that is ok also. If you want to start ASAP and work full time until school begins, that's an option.
