Learning Resources Assistant

Napa Valley College is seeking a Learning Resources Assistant in the Library and Library Services. The Library brings under one roof Library Services, Alternative Media, Testing and Tutoring, Learning Services, and distance learning facilities.

The incumbent in this position will be assisting with the daily operations of the library; performing a variety of technical paraprofessional library support duties; providing support to the Library and Learning Resource Center (LLRC); assisting with activities as assigned; and providing support to students, staff, faculty and community members in using library and learning resources.

This job reports to the Assistant Superintendent/Vice President, Academic Affairs or designated administrator. 

This is a full-time, 12-months-per-year, classified position open to regular classified employees in range 11 only. The salary has an appropriate placement on range 11 of the current Classified Salary Schedule. The starting salary range is $4,083 to $4,727/month, with future steps up to $5,743/month. The college offers a fringe benefit package including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, employee assistance program, and public employee retirement system membership.
