THE ROLE
A fellowship at HHN is an entry-level position designed to provide a foundational understanding of health and wellness advertising, the company, and the specific department. This role emphasizes training, offering opportunities to participate in courses such as Pharma 101, Business Writing, and Foundations of Presenting. Fellows will also engage in discussions with Senior Executives to understand inter-departmental collaboration in servicing clients. This program offers a unique chance to expand your professional network and be mentored by leading minds in pharmaceutical advertising.
The Strategy Fellow contributes to developing and managing a brand's identity and helps with creating marketing strategies that align with brand goals and vision. This role also supports marketing research, including primary and secondary research, to gain brand insights and identify market opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with managing brand-building projects, including strategy maps, launch positioning, and omnichannel planning.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research for market insights and strategic recommendations.
- Support the design and management of research methodology, leveraging HHN partnerships.
- Help design and organize workshops for brand strategy and tactical initiatives.
- Conduct research (competitive audits, social listening, trends) to inform strategic planning.
- Contribute to client presentations, including research analyses and strategic points of view.
- Support primary and secondary research development.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as instructed by the supervisor.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in marketing research or the healthcare/communications industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and under pressure, adapting quickly while maintaining quality standards.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, self-learner, solutions-oriented, and creative.
