Job Description:

Responsibilities

The Project Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the Deputy General Counsel within the Office of General Counsel, Legal Affairs. This position will assist in coordinating a wide range of activities, including budget, financial, and procurement activities, and will be a point person and liaison for office operations and workflow coordination. Additionally, the incumbent will supervise and guide staff members to ensure efficient and effective workflow operations across the office.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience providing project coordination/support and/or operations coordination/support; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling sensitive confidential matters and managing complex issues and interactions. Knowledge and experience with grants and/or financial and/or human resources systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Identity manager (FIM), OneDrive, and SharePoint, as well as Adobe Pro and Visio. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Travel, up to 10% of the time, will be required.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.

This position may require occasional work on weekends, after-hours, and holidays.
