UI/UX Designer Intern

MathZoos is hiring, and for multiple positions! We are a company based out of New York, looking for interns to work on an online educational math SaaS platform for kids.

The internship (welcome CPT/OPT) will be 100% remote, and have flexible hours and meeting times. While it is unpaid, it presents a valuable opportunity to earn academic credit, and many of our current interns are already receiving credit for their work. Depending on your school’s policy, you may also qualify. Exceptional performance may also lead to full-time employment with us!

 

Job Description:

We are looking for talented UI/UX Designers with strong proficiency in Figma to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and improving our user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our users. If you are passionate about creating intuitive, visually appealing designs that enhance user satisfaction, we’d love to meet you.

 

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality UI/UX solutions.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs in Figma.

- Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate and improve design solutions.

- Work closely with developers to implement designs, ensuring feasibility and responsiveness.
 

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Figma, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.

- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

- Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a remote team environment.
