Event Sales Representative
Realm is looking to hire College Ambassadors for their Event Sales Representative position! Realm is a startup company that operates in the LA, Bay and Seattle area that works to bring simplicity to home renovations. We're currently seeking a highly motivated and outgoing individual to join our dynamic team.
Information:
- Starting pay: $26 per hour with uncapped commission potential on top of base pay
- Ambassador perks of being involved with a startup company and gaining a new network of other college students
- Potential to get involved with Realm's social media and outreach
- Training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure success in the role
- Part-time position, weekend availability required
Responsibilities:
- Experiment with community marketing initiatives such as in-person retail pop-ups, farmers markets, real estate expos, and local flyering.
- Perform event setup, including arranging product displays, signage, and promotional materials.
- Initiate genuine conversations, effectively conveying Realm's renovation advisory service to spark interest, generate leads, book meetings, and drive sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering positive relationships.
- Meet individual sales targets while contributing to the overall team goals.
Requirements:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and build relationships.
- Have access to a reliable vehicle for transporting event equipment such as a tent, table, marketing materials, etc.
- Proficiency in using technology, including point-of-sale systems, tablets, and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and demonstrating a proactive attitude.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close sales
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by event schedules.
