Description
The Electrical Engineering Intern will work collaboratively with an experienced engineer and is responsible for supporting design and evaluation of electronics hardware and software. This intern is a quick learner with classroom experience in at least some of the following categories: circuits, electric power, control theory, simulation and programming.
Requirements
Major Responsibilities:
- Support design of new circuits and circuit boards.
- Support design of embedded controls.
- Troubleshooting of circuits, circuit boards and electrical actuators.
- Support development of simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink or other tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or a recent graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline.
Minimum Competencies:
- Experience using lab equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other Engineers.
- Eagerness and ability to learn new skills.
- Experience with a circuit simulation tool, such as SPICE, Cadence, etc.
