Investment Banking Summer 2026 Internship

Summer 2026 Internship Program

East Wind seeks to hire undergraduate candidates as interns each summer and selectively provides opportunities for continuity during the academic year.  Prior experience in investment banking is helpful, though not required, and facility with Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, accounting and financial statement analysis is expected.  The internship program is conducted on a paid stipend basis, without benefits.

Successful interns have historically demonstrated the following characteristics and skills: sincere interest in investment banking, ability to digest information and learn quickly, attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, high work standards, proactive problem solving, responsiveness and perspective.

Interns have an unparalleled opportunity to develop an understanding of investment banking from access to our firm’s senior personnel, exposure to clients and supervised involvement in the matters we work on.  We seek to afford interns, on a supervised basis, exposure to market research, transaction materials and documentation, financial and valuation analyses, negotiations, structuring and more.  We also conduct educational sessions to illustrate how certain concepts learned in school are applied in practice.  The training interns receive during our program focuses on the skills necessary to succeed as a full-time investment banking Analyst.

Alumni of East Wind’s internship program have subsequently assumed full-time roles at East Wind, larger investment banks including Moelis, Rothschild and Citi, private equity firms such as Blackstone and corporations like Microsoft and Amazon.
