Qualified Behavioral Health Provider - Haven in Conway - Evening Shift

Arisa Health is currently seeking a Qualified Behavioral Health Professional (QBHP) to join our Haven Residential facility in Conway. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with adolescents and families in a behavior health setting. Requires a bachelor's degree in social behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, or a related field and/or at least two years of experience working in a mental health setting.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old.

The candidate should have good computer skills, good leadership skills, the ability to organize and prioritize, and be patient, consistent, and flexible, and must be able to work in a team setting and work independently.  Previous experience working with adolescents who have experienced complex trauma and knowledge of the foster care system is beneficial and is strongly preferred.

Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.
 

This position is classified as full- time, non-exempt (hourly) and reports to the Operations  Manager.  

Work hours: Wednesday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

What we look for in a Qualified Behavioral Health Professional:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, child development, education, or a related field preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multitask in crisis situations
  • The ability to work as part of a treatment team
