Psychology Associate/Psychometrician Needed – Brain Injury Clinical Research Center
The Brain Injury Clinical Research Center at Kennedy Krieger Institute announces an opening for an individual with a master’s degree in clinical, counseling or school psychology to conduct neuropsychological, behavioral, educational, and developmental testing in the context of rehabilitation research, with a focus on pediatric brain injury.
The Kennedy Krieger Institute has a long-standing history of excellence in clinical care and research related to children with acquired brain injury. The Institute's brain injury research programs include both basic science research and clinical research, with scientists in both areas regularly collaborating with each other.
Within the Center, our multidisciplinary research team focuses on:
- understanding of neurobehavioral, neuroimaging, and neurophysiological biomarkers to assess injury and predict outcome following brain injury across the range of severity from concussion to disorders of consciousness,
- development and validation of innovative measurement tools to better quantify function and outcome following brain injury, and
- investigation of the efficacy of interventions for treatment and prevention of brain injury.
