Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Gainesville, TX
SHIFT: Night Shift Hours: 7:45 pm – 8:00 am (2-2-3 shift rotation)
STARTING PAY: $18.00 per hour (Night Shift receives an additional $3.00/hr. shift diff)
Dura-Line is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Material Handler in Gainesville, TX. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production personnel and contributing to continuous improvement in delivering top-notch products and services to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Material Handling:
- Draw required materials from appropriate locations and stages for production lines.
- Stage materials in the designated area for easy accessibility.
- Set up materials according to the Supervisor’s instructions.
- Responsible for the rail call unloading system (pulling resin material to silos)
Resin Delivery System:
- Set up and monitor the resin delivery system as per Supervisor’s instructions.
- Monitor additive levels on each line and create resin/regrind mix as needed.
- Inspect regrind gaylords for metallic contamination and report any issues to the Supervisor or Line Operator.
- Maintain proper levels of color mix for color feeders and stripers.
- Set up regrind gaylords for mixing.
Process/Equipment Monitoring:
- Understand the operation of pull-line feed equipment and maintain proper tape or cable in products requiring it.
- Make minor repairs to feed equipment as needed.
- Pull tape onto the floor if tape feeders are unavailable to clear any obstructions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A Minimum of 6 months of Manufacturing or Distribution/Warehouse experience.
- Familiarity with SAP and Inventory Management.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
- Reading, writing, and mathematical competency.
- Ability to read instructions for material requirements and specifications.
- Valid lift truck/forklift license.
- Working knowledge of the resin system.
- Knowledge of part numbers for all material requirements.
OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
- Climb ladders, listen to equipment, inspect products for defects, and sense temperature changes in the finished product.
- Spend up to 12 hours a shift on your feet around hot machinery.
