Tri-state area for over 40 years. In an energetic and exciting work environment, you will work alongside occupational therapists, speech therapists and physical therapists who share a high commitment to providing quality services to children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
· Doctoral-level degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.)
· Licensed or license-eligible in WV and OH.
· Three to five years of related experience (preferred) as a psychologist working with children and adolescents presenting with autism and other neurodiversity concerns.
· Experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
· Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to develop and facilitate social skills groups designed for individuals who may struggle with interpersonal communication and relationships.
· Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
Job Description:
· Conduct psychological assessments, testing and evaluations for adults, adolescents and children.
· Draft thorough diagnostic reports which include assessment findings and recommendations to families.
· Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual client needs.
· Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care.
· Lead therapy groups for children, teens and adults focusing on increasing social skills, coping skills, mindfulness and improving executive functioning.
· Stay current on the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology.
· Ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care.
· Document services provided through appropriate clinical notes.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
