Part Time Graphic Designer

About the Role:

The Graphic Design Assistant will be helping to design emails, marketing materials, social media assets, and create engaging content. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects at any given time. You will work within a team environment that is heavily focused on collaboration to stay on target with strategy and quality standards. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with design requests from internal and external sources and work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet marketing strategies and business goals.
  • Execute a variety of graphic design tasks, including creating visual concepts and designs for marketing materials, digital content, and brand collateral.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging visual content for various platforms, ensuring all visuals align with our brand identity.
  • Design visually appealing and effective email marketing materials, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all communications.
  • Schedule and manage content calendar for timely marketing campaigns
  • Manage digital signage
  • Provide miscellaneous design support
  • Edit videos, pictures, audio and text

Requirements:

  • Present a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of graphic design skills, showcasing previous work in digital and print media.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and project management, along with strong organizational abilities to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a team, contributing to a collaborative creative process.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all design work, coupled with a commitment to meet project deadlines.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with additional skills in content creation, email marketing, and a basic understanding of photography and video production.

Technical Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to work on PC computers
  • Experience with website design and management is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Photography skills a plus but not mandatory
  • WordPress knowledge a plus but not required
