We are currently seeking a Clinical Therapist.

Woodward Academy is a residential treatment facility for male and female youth who are adjudicated delinquent or “child in need of assistance” (CINA). Woodward Academy offers programs aimed at redirecting delinquent, negative behaviors to positive, socially acceptable patterns through introducing students to a normative culture. Woodward’s treatment philosophy focuses on behavioral and cognitive change through the establishment of a normative culture model and treatment services.

This Clinical Therapist position is located in Woodward, IA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Clinical Therapist:

· Conduct Individual and Family Therapy

· 25-27 minimum weekly sessions (18.75-20.25 contact hours, depending on assigned assessments)

· Optional: Facilitation or Co-facilitation of a therapy group, adjusting numbers accordingly

· Meet minimum number of Iowa billable students per group established with supervisor

· Completion of LPHA Psychosocial assessments or reauthorizations as assigned

· 2 assessments weekly on average (27 total weekly services minimum)

· Completion of Managed Care Reviews as needed

· Completion of Treatment Collaborations and Discharge Summaries

· Completion of all required documentation within the necessary time frames

· Participate in weekly clinical team meetings

Requirements for the Clinical Therapist: A Master's degree with a State of Iowa license in one of the following: LMHC, LMSW, LISW, LMFT - Temporary or full 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $59,169.76 per year
