Fall 2024 Human Resources and Talent Attraction Internship
Summary:
The Human Resources and Talent Attraction Intern will report to the Early Career + Intern Program Specialist. They will assist with supporting Summer 2025 intern programming and generation of resources and processes to support the Talent Acquisition team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the categorization of candidate resumes and implement engagement plan to connect with future candidates ( Via E-mail, mail, Social Media, etc.)
- Assist Intern Program Specialist with evaluating Summer Intern Programming Survey feedback and preparation for Summer 2025 Programming
- Assist the Intern Program specialist with intern + co-op resume reviews
- Creation of resource guide for early career professionals/ intern relocation candidates highlighting:
- Rental and Sublet options in the Southeastern MA area
- Public transportation options
- Wellness and recreational activities
- Social and civic engagement opportunities outside of work
- Creation of SharePoint page with Talent Acquisition Team and industry content including:
- Recruiter Bios
- University relations schedule
- List of 2024/25 Tiered School Engagement Plan
- Interview Guide for managers
- Latest TA industry Trends
- Research and provide 3 recommendations for how to better engage student populations on campus and after completion of summer internships
- Creation of Sample E-mail Templates for early career/ intern communications and assist with post-internship engagement plan
- Assist TA Diversity Program Manager with execution of program elements of Diversity Partnerships, including attending partner updates meeting, research, student outreach
- Continuous research for Global Internship Program to understand industry trends, required resources, and barriers to success and develop recommendations to apply to the Acushnet Company program
- Assist TA team with updating Handshake and other career platforms with on campus and virtual events
- Creation of resource guide for TA team regarding OPT/ CPT processes for future candidate consideration
Requirements:
- Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree Program, Junior, Senior or Graduate student with special consideration for those w/ Majors/Concentrations in Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion, Business Administration, Sociology, Labor Relations, or Organizational/Industrial, Psychology or other related majors
- Knowledge of the game of golf is appreciated but not required, competitive Junior and/or Collegiate (club or varsity) golf is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work Independently on projects/Assignments
- Ability to travel to Fairhaven, MA WHQ
- Have positive, people-oriented attitude, resourceful nature, and energetic approach to getting work done
