Unclaimed Property Customer Service Representative

Are you a self-motivated and resourceful individual who has a positive attitude and strong ethical standards? Are you able to provide great customer service? We act as custodians of unclaimed/abandoned property in Michigan and work to reunite reported properties with their rightful owners or the owners’ heirs.
 
This position is responsible for thoroughly researching requests, whether in writing or over the phone, to determine the rightful ownership of property consisting of cash, securities and/or safe deposit box contents. This position reviews an assortment of legal documents (including, but not limited to, probate court documents, wills, trusts, death certificates, court orders) as well as a wide variety of informational paperwork submitted by claimants. This position is also responsible for maintaining and ensuring confidentiality of data, providing excellent customer service in a call center environment and being detail oriented.
