Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Manager to join our team. This role involves managing our WordPress website, ensuring it is functional, user-friendly, and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, content management, and digital marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our WordPress website.
  • Update website content regularly, ensuring it is accurate and engaging.
  • Implement website design changes and improvements.
  • Optimize website performance and ensure it is mobile-friendly.
  • Monitor website security and perform regular backups.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
  • Work with various plugins and themes to enhance website functionality.
  • Assist in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze website traffic and user behavior using Google Analytics.
  • Support other web-related projects as needed.

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in WordPress and related technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
  • Experience with theme and plug-in development.
  • Knowledge of database management.
  • SEO and website performance optimization.
  • Design and UX skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience in a non-profit or similar environment.
