We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Manager to join our team. This role involves managing our WordPress website, ensuring it is functional, user-friendly, and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, content management, and digital marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our WordPress website.
- Update website content regularly, ensuring it is accurate and engaging.
- Implement website design changes and improvements.
- Optimize website performance and ensure it is mobile-friendly.
- Monitor website security and perform regular backups.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
- Work with various plugins and themes to enhance website functionality.
- Assist in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns.
- Analyze website traffic and user behavior using Google Analytics.
- Support other web-related projects as needed.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in WordPress and related technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
- Experience with theme and plug-in development.
- Knowledge of database management.
- SEO and website performance optimization.
- Design and UX skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience in a non-profit or similar environment.
