College Internship Program – Sales Job Description

 

Reports To:  Chief Sales Officer. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective partners across the campus
  • Provide outstanding customer service to existing accounts
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and networking
  • Learn, and fully utilize Inspire.World’s CRM
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales efforts with Inspire.World team members
  • If needed, recommend changes in products, services and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback and training provided by headquarters

 

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative (or equivalent work experience)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • The ability to learn CRM (Client Relationship Management) tool
  • Ability to build productive professional business relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organization skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

 

The internship is paid as a 1099 position.  The intern will receive 7.5% of net sales and be paid monthly basis.
