THE POSITION
The State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to join their Community Forensics Services (CFS) team! The CFS team provides clinical services in collaboration with state and community agencies operating community re-entry programs in New Haven for clients with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders currently or formerly involved with the criminal justice system. In addition, the CFS team also provides supervision and clinical services to all New Haven Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) clients as well as the facilitation of groups and offender screenings within the Department of Corrections facilities via the Connecticut Offender Re-Entry Program (CORP).
