Trauma Recovery Center Clinical Psychologist

REACH is recruiting a licensed clinical psychologist for its new Trauma Recovery Center. The incumbent will serve in a leadership role as a senior clinician and provide trauma-informed assessment, psychotherapy, and assertive case management services to survivors of violent crime. The incumbent will also provide clinical supervision, consultation and training to staff and trainees on trauma-informed evidence-based interventions.  REACH will consider filling this position as either a full-time or part-time employee.

Required

  • Possession of a valid license in Psychology issued by the California Board of Psychology.
  • Experience working with trauma survivors from a variety of underserved populations.
  • Experience working with survivors with complex trauma including substance abuse, psychiatric problems, and/or multiple victimizations.
  • Experience providing short-term, trauma-informed individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Experience doing case management.

Preferred

  • At least 3 years post licensing.
  • Experience working with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Experience doing outreach and home visits.
  • Bilingual Spanish.

Salary

REACH the Valley (REACH), formerly the Center Against Sexual Assault, specializes in the prevention, intervention, and treatment of sexual and domestic violence, childhood trauma, neglect and abuse, and human trafficking.  Founded in 1982, REACH’s full scope of programming includes 24/7 crisis intervention, accompaniment to forensic medical exams, forensic interviews, law enforcement interviews, and court hearings, advocacy on behalf of victims, individual, family, and group counseling, prevention education and intervention services in local school districts, and a Clinical Training Program. REACH serves the San Jacinto Valley and its surrounding unincorporated areas in Riverside County, Southern California. REACH is in the process of implementing the evidence-based Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) Model designed to provide a variety of clinician-based support to survivors who have severe trauma-related symptoms and/or complex psychological issues.
