About the Position: Children's Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and leadership-focused Director of Nursing to join our Executive Management Team. In this critical role, you will guide and support our exceptional nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of life-changing care to children ages 12-17 experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of care while fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for both RNs and LPNs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Oklahoma RN license or RN License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Four years of professional nursing experience, including two years in a supervisory role, plus an additional year in a managerial or consultative capacity. OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing with three years of professional nursing experience, including two years in a supervisory role, plus an additional year in a managerial or consultative capacity. OR
  • Master’s degree with two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory role, plus an additional year in a managerial or consultative capacity.

Special Requirements:

  • Physical examination upon a conditional offer of employment.
  • Willingness to fulfill job-related travel requirements with a valid driver’s license.
  • Pre-employment and pre-placement drug testing for safety-sensitive positions.

About Us: The Children’s Recovery Center of Oklahoma (CRC) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, serving all 77 counties. As the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services' treatment center for young people ages 12 through 17, CRC provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma-related conditions.
