FeelGood Operations Intern
Fall 2024 Internship (August 15 - December 15, 2024)


The Hunger Project (THP) seeks a FeelGood Operations Intern to join our Investor
Engagement team. This internship is open to currently enrolled or recently graduated
university students.


Position Summary:
Are you passionate about being a global citizen? Would you like an internship with a global

watching them come alive? Do you love supporting the next generation and building a
movement? Then, you should join our Investor Engagement Team and our FeelGood Program!


The Hunger Project seeks passionate, creative, and adaptable individuals interested in
supporting our work to create a world without hunger. This is a part-time, remote internship
with a paid stipend. This is an opportunity for individuals eager to actively learn and
participate in many facets of a global organization's project management, communications,
and special projects that will support the stewardship and expansion of our FeelGood
program through innovative programs and operations. This position will work closely with our FeelGood Program Officer.


Specific responsibilities include:
● Support the planning, coordinating, and execution of FeelGood events (virtual or
in-person)
● Draft and edit communication, content, and fundraising materials specific to FeelGood
efforts, events, staff trips, and branding.
● Provide administrative support to the FeelGood Program Officer. (ie: general office
tasks such as organizing, data entry, and managing correspondence)
● Provide creative and project management support to other FeelGood Interns and
FeelGood student leaders.
● Support scheduling and coordination of Program events calendar, including preparing
agendas and taking notes.
● Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
● Track project progress for the FeelGood Program Officer.
● Assist in the evaluation and improvement of program activities.
● Build relationships with THP staff, vendors, investors, other past/present THP interns,
and FeelGood students - past and present.
● Other administrative duties and projects as assigned by the FeelGood Program Officer.


Preferred qualifications:
● Must be located in the United States and have reliable internet access.
● Current part-time or full-time student at an accredited college or university.
● Must be able to commit to 12-20 hours during the business week. No weekends.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong editing and proofreading skills.
● Desire to learn, grow, and embrace or generate new innovative ideas.
● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy.
● Self-generator with strong leadership and social skills. Must be able to work
independently and take ownership of your time, space, and projects.
● A team player who is adaptable, flexible, and willing to contribute whenever needed.
● Knowledge of standard business applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google
Docs.
● Preferred knowledge of Canva and other graphics programs is a plus.
● Experience working across cultures and multiple language skills are a plus.
● Commitment to THP’s values, including understanding and compatibility with our
principles and philosophy.
