Senior Program Coordinator (Health Equity and Racial Justice( (JR-0000926)

Responsibilities

The Senior Program Coordinator will oversee the coordination of program planning, development, implementation, and outcome measurement activities related to addressing health disparities and promoting health equity in the Center for Community Health (CCH). 

The incumbent will serve as the CCH liaison for health equity activities and provide subject matter expertise; collaborate and works with CCH’s Divisions and representatives from multiple State agencies to implement program activities designed to promote health equity; manage and oversee health equity training and capacity building initiatives within CCH. 

The incumbent will perform other appropriate duties as assigned.     

 

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of program coordination experience in a public health, health, or human services-related program or community-based organization; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. The experience must have been contributing toward the development, implementation and/or evaluation of a program, project or other related activities.  A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management.

 

Preferred Qualifications

A degree in Public Health or a Certificate in Health Equity and/or Health Disparities; experience working in a community-based organization, academic institution or government agency to promote health equity and address health disparities associated with race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or health status; experience with SharePoint.

 

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.

Travel, up to 25% of the time, will be required.
