Design Internship
World Medical Relief is hiring UI/UX Graphic Designer Interns. Duties include website design, social media design, and event planning design.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and edit website designs, then submit designs to supervisor for review
- Create and edit social media content, then submit designs to supervisor for review
- Collecting and analyzing data to identify consumer trends
- Researching consumers and designing event marketing strategies
Skills and Qualifications
- Work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Knowledge of design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe, Wix, Canva, etc.)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- BSc (or Master's) in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- Aptitude with various social media sites (Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.)
- Familiarity with consumer psychology and buying habits
- Ability to quickly learn and process information
- Organization and time management skills
The Design Internship is a 3-month program. You can choose which 3-months you want. You will be compensated based on commission from the donations you are able to receive. If you perform well after the three months, it could turn into a full time job with salary, commission, and benefits.
The internship is a lot of fun. You will learn a lot about nonprofits, marketing, design, and event planning. The internship is really good for students and young professionals who enjoy helping others through nonprofit organizations.
