Tax Season Internship

Like many public accounting firms, tax season is a busy time for Maillie LLP! It also presents an excellent opportunity for students pursuing an Accounting degree to experience first-hand what it’s like to work in the field. As an intern at Maillie you will gain experience in the following:

  • ProSystem and Engagement software.
  • Preparation of 1040 and business returns.
  • Performance of accounting functions related to preparation of tax returns.
  • Communication with all levels of accounting and administrative personnel including managers and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • High degree of comfort learning new software applications.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 10-15 hours a week.
