    The Role

As a Web Designer at Pearl Lemon, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing visually appealing websites that not only meet our clients' objectives but also provide an exceptional user experience. Your creativity and design expertise will be critical in ensuring our clients' online presence stands out.


 

POSSIBLE responsibilities:

  • Website Design: Create visually captivating website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces that align with client requirements and brand guidelines.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to convey design concepts and gather feedback.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure that designs are responsive and adapt seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with web developers, content creators, and project managers to translate design concepts into functional web solutions.
  • Visual Branding: Maintain and enhance the visual identity and branding elements across websites, ensuring consistency and coherence.
  • User Experience (UX): Prioritize user-centered design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Graphic Design: Create graphics, icons, and other visual elements to complement website designs.
  • Typography: Select and implement appropriate fonts that enhance readability and aesthetics.
  • SEO Awareness: Incorporate SEO best practices into design to optimize websites for search engines.


 

Required skills and experience:

  • Graphic Design Expertise: Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) or similar software.
  • Web Design Tools: Experience with web design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • HTML/CSS Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to collaborate effectively with web developers.
  • Responsive Design: Ability to create designs that are responsive and adapt to various screen sizes.
  • UX/UI Principles: Strong understanding of user experience and user interface design principles.
  • Typography: Knowledge of typography and its role in web design.
  • Creativity: A keen eye for aesthetics, layout, and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous web design projects is essential for evaluation.
