Hispanic Church Ministry Intern- Vida Real- Fall 2024
The Real Life/ Vida Real intern will have the opportunity to build their skills with ministry to a Spanish-speaking congregation within Real Life Christian Church in Clermont, FL. We are a part of the larger church family and share many events like Baptism Sunday and social events, but we worship in Spanish and have many separate social and educational small groups. This internship would be a great opportunity for someone called to serve migrant communities by immersion in our culture. Possibilities include leading our small groups and perhaps preaching as the intern's skills are appropriate, working with our youth, and ministering to families new to the United States. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential as all our worship and communication is in Spanish, but our communication with the greater church is in English.
The experience is intended to give you opportunities which help you identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.
Basic Requirements:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior- This is a requirement
- Proficiency in Spanish and English languages
- Passion for serving the Spanish congregation, Vida Real.
- Relational person who is willing to build relationships
- Desire to grow in leadership by assisting our Vida Real pastor and other church leaders
- Preaching or leading small group is possible

General info:
Expect to be on the Real Life/Vida Real campus at least 2 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week. Typical hours would be Sunday 8am-1pm plus 10 - 15 additional hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm as arranged with your mentor. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with appropriate notice.
This internship is 12 weeks long September 9, 2024, to December 6, 2024, with the week of Thanksgiving off.
Pay: $150.00 per week
