Young Adults Ministry Intern- Fall 2024
The Young Adults Ministry Intern will assist the YA Director in all aspects of the YA program. This growing ministry helps 18 to 30-year olds find their purpose and build relationships with Jesus and each other. Our YAs meet on Thursday evenings and many weeks we have table discussions, some we serve, and the last week of the month we have a worship night we call Purpose Night. The YA intern might preach at a Purpose Night, but it is not a requirement.
Areas of potential development for a YA Intern could include: Public speaking, time management and weekly planning, scheduling a weekly and seasonal calendar as a leader of Young Adults, and 1 on 1 Discipleship.
This experience will be tailored to your individual needs to help you identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.
Basic Requirements:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior - This is a requirement.
- Passion for bringing young and/or new believers to meet and know Jesus.
- Relational person who is willing to initiate conversations with others to share information and/or build relationships
- Desire to grow in leadership through membership on the YA core team and by leading table discussions
- Preaching or leading the weekly Rundown at YA

General info:
Expect to be on the Real Life campus at least 2 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week.
Typical hours would be Sunday 8am-1pm plus 10 - 15 additional hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm as arranged with your mentor. YA meets Thursday evenings, so plan to be on campus 6:30 - 9:30PM. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with appropriate notice.
This internship is 12 weeks long September 9, 2024, to December 6, 2024, with the week of Thanksgiving off.
Pay: $150.00 per week
