For-Credit Internship
SUMMARY: This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment. This is a for-credit internship, ideal for juniors or seniors looking to apply their academic knowledge in practical settings, enhance their skills, and gain industry exposure at a top global firm.
Internship is hybrid with Tuesday & Thursday in the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track media coverage and trends that are relevant to our clients, preparing reports on findings to support team strategies.
- Assist in writing and editing press releases, blog posts, and newsletters. Contribute to content for social media platforms.
- Help manage social media profiles, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing engagement data to inform future posts.
- Provide support in organizing corporate events, trade shows, and other promotional events.
- Conduct thorough research to support client campaigns, pitches, and strategy development.
- Attend client meetings and contribute to the preparation of meeting materials, taking notes and participating in discussion as needed.
- Conduct market analysis to support strategic decisions, including competitor analysis and customer insights.
- Help create engaging content for various marketing channels such as blogs, newsletters, and social media posts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
