One Cultural Resources Technician (Seasonal Worker, Full-time, 40 hours/week) position is available with the Colorado State University (CSU) Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). This position will provide entry-level training and experience on a range of cultural resources projects supporting the Cultural Resources Management (CRM) program at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida. Duties will include but are not limited to the tasks below: 

  • Organize and enter survey data into CRM database systems
  • Support the CRM Program in composing consultation letters to the Florida Division of Historical Resources and tribes
  • Provide CRM monitoring support at building demolition sites

Candidates must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in history, archaeology, historic preservation, cultural resource management, archival management, or a related field
  • Have a working knowledge of archaeology and historical buildings
  • Be familiar with database entry
  • Possess knowledge of northern Florida archaeology
  • Be comfortable visiting building demolition sites
  • Have proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Be able to comply with all applicable regulations to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Preference will be given to those already residing in the state. Must be able to relocate and provide vehicle to commute to the installation. ECDP is unable to provide relocation or housing costs or recommendations at this time.
