About the Position:

Under the general direction of the Government and Community Affairs Manager, a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst serves as the Government Affairs Liaison. The incumbent performs complex professional and technical analytical tasks associated with legislative inquiries, policy, administrative and interagency work related to government processes. The incumbent coordinates with Elected officials, their staff and other agency representatives, provides guidance to the District, and resolves issues with a particular focus on communication, analysis, engagement, education, and reform. Incumbent develops and strengthens internal and external partnerships and fosters collaborative approaches to creating, implementing, and achieving project, program, and policy goals. Incumbent implements statewide, department, and district Legislative Affairs protocols including reports, analysis, briefings, and dossiers.
