Position Overview: Roulettech Inc. is offering a UI/UX Design Internship, providing a hands-on learning experience with our Kangacook platform. This internship is designed to develop your design skills while working under the guidance of industry professionals.

Learning Objectives and Goals:

  • Gain experience in designing user interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Learn how to conduct user research and apply insights to improve design outcomes.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of UI/UX design processes and tools such as Figma.
  • Enhance your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and other designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Design: Work alongside our design and front-end teams to create intuitive user interfaces using Figma.
  • User Research: Conduct research and gather user feedback to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs.
  • Creative Contribution: Participate in brainstorming sessions, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
  • Consistency Maintenance: Assist in ensuring design consistency across all projects by following established guidelines and systems.
  • Development of Guidelines: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design guidelines, style guides, and design systems.

Practical Application:

  • Apply design principles learned in your academic coursework to real-world projects.
  • Engage in practical problem-solving tasks that directly impact product development.

Supervision and Feedback:

  • You will be supervised by a Senior UI/UX Designer with over [X years] of industry experience.
  • Regular feedback sessions will be conducted to guide your progress and ensure alignment with learning objectives.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Figma for designing and prototyping.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Openness to feedback and a willingness to iterate on designs.
  • Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Experience with user testing and usability analysis.
