Job Title: Virtual IB Math AA Instructor

Job Description:

Are you passionate about mathematics and skilled in teaching? Do you have experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and enjoy working with children? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Independent Contractor to join our team as a Virtual IB Math Analysis and Approaches (AA) Instructor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IB Math AA: Deliver engaging and effective virtual lessons tailored to the IB curriculum.
  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Create an encouraging and supportive atmosphere that motivates students to excel in mathematics.
  • Adapt to Student Needs: Personalize instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Collaborate with Parents and Students: Communicate effectively with both students and their parents to track progress and address any concerns.
  • Stay Current with IB Standards: Ensure all teaching methods and materials are up-to-date with the latest IB curriculum guidelines and standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching IB Math, particularly the Analysis and Approaches (AA) course.
  • Educational Background: Strong foundation in mathematics and familiarity with the IB curriculum.
  • Virtual Teaching Proficiency: Comfortable and skilled in conducting classes through virtual platforms.
  • Engagement Skills: Ability to connect with students and make learning interactive and enjoyable.
  • Independent Contractor: This is a contract position requiring a high degree of self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • Hourly Rate: Competitive pay rate of $60-$70 per hour.
  • Commitment: Availability to teach one hour per week, with potential for additional hours based on demand and performance.
